eWoof is a family-run business which has been providing dog daycare, dog boarding and dog walks since 2014.
The business is licensed for up to 7 dogs at any time and offers professional licensed dog services in High Wycombe and surrounding areas.
the brief
A website was required as a business generation tool to increase the number of regular day-care customers and specifically promote the dog walking service in the local area.
The client felt that customers for this type of service needed better information about daycare, boarding and dog walking services. They wanted the site to become a good resource for useful information about the process of onboarding a new dog and to show what good daycare provision looked like. The client wanted to make all the required forms downloadable or able to be completed online, for user ease and convenience.
Most websites for this industry lack useful information and the layout and aesthetics are often poor quality, so the client wanted something that was sharp, interesting, professional and SEO savvy. The ultimate goal was to increase local traffic to the site to maximise service uptake.

The website was designed along clean, fresh and crisp lines. The majority of images were provided by the client to give customers a good insight into the family running this very personal and important service, in order to build trust.
The site has clear call-to-actions (CTA) to provide the customer with every opportunity to get in touch along their journey through the site.
Good SEO practise has been built-in throughout page and post content, to focus on reaching the target market.
Look, feel and function runs consistently through the website, repeating important information to reinforce trust and professionalism and enable easy contact to be made.
Results
- The business has a waiting list (at one point with 66 customers) requiring regular daycare.
- Due to the professional aesthetics of the website, eWoof was mistaken for a larger franchise during their license inspection visit.
- eWoof appears on the first page of Google search engines for the keyword ‘find a dog walker’ based purely on organic SEO growth (no paid services or ads). In addition it is the only small (non-corporate, non franchised business or charity) on page one.*
- eWoof also appears on the first page of Google search engines for the keyword ‘find dog daycare’. Again, it is the only small business listed and also sits above a larger chain of daycare centres.*
- The Client has reported feedback that Customers have been super-keen to get their dogs in at eWoof after seeing the website and getting a feel for the owner, their home and service.
- The Customer is fully booked for daycare; no longer able to accept boarders due to over demand; and almost full for dog walks.
