Stephen Russell Construction was formed in 1976, achieving Chartered Building Company status in 1994.
The company specialises in industrial and commercial buildings, schools & colleges, high-specification bespoke housing and historic buildings.
the brief
Stephen Russell Construction had a legacy website which was very much in the ‘old school’ format of website design and functionality. They wanted to bring the website up to modern standards and benefit from a more aesthetic look and feel to represent the business.
The website wasn’t required for business generation as such, as their scale, business connections and success were very much already established. They did however recognise the need for a professional web presence and wanted their site to showcase some of their best projects for prospective customers to browse.

A very simple and clean brochure-style website was delivered for Stephen Russell Construction. The website was designed in their brand green with lots of clean white space to allow their images to be clearly displayed.
Small, simple sections of company information and background give customers confidence about the business.
The important pages for this customer are their portfolio pages which represent their three main sectors residential, commercial and educational. The focus is the photos (provided by the client) to showcase their extensive list of projects.
Good SEO practises (on page) have been built-in throughout page and post content, as standard.
